Macaroni Salad


Ingredients:
4 or 5 eggs
1 box Pasta (Salad Macaroni)
4-5 celery stalks (grated)
green onion (chopped)
1 1/2 cups Mayo
2-3 tablespoons yellow mustard
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)

Directions:

Boil macaroni in salted water.  Drain and cool.
Hardboil eggs, cool and grate.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl except for 1/2 cup mayo.  Add more mayo as needed.  It will absorb.

Note:  If making a day early, add remaining 1/2 cup mayo on day it is served.

Snickerdoodles

This is Tia Cheryl's recipe that I made more times than I can count!  :-)

Ingredients:

1 1/2 c sugar
1/2 c butter (softened)
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1 tsp cream of tartar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
2 3/4 c flour

Topping:
2 Tbsp sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

Mix sugar, butter, vanilla and eggs together.  Mix in dry ingredients.  Blend well.
Shape into 1" balls and roll in sugar cinnamon mix.
Place 2" apart on un greased cookie sheet.
Bake @ 400 for 8 - 10 minutes...until set.

Berry Cobbler

You can use margarine but butter is best.


Ingredients:

1 stick butter (or margarine) softened.
2 cups sugar
1 cup milk
2 cups flour
4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt.
5 cups blackberries

Directions:

In a bowl, combine butter, sugar and milk.   In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder and salt.   Pour dry ingredients into wet and mix.  Pour batter into 9x13 pan (greased with butter).  Spread out batter and top with berries.

Bake at 375 degrees for 45 mins.
